With #GreenInitiative Electrolux involves all its employees in Italy in an important widespread forestation project.
Each employee, from 20th to 20th March, will be able to request a tree – among several native species – and plant it in their garden or have it grow in pots on their terrace.
In this way, more than 5,000 trees will enrich the local areas with greenery, improving the air we breathe and the urban landscapes we live every day, also in favor of the animal species most at risk due to climate change, such as bees.
If you do not have the opportunity to plant your tree, leave it on the farm and we will donate it to the local administrations where Electrolux has its sites: Porcia, Susegana, Forlì, Solaro, Cerreto d’Esi and Assago. The spaces in which the trees not collected by employees will be planted will be chosen in collaboration with the various municipal administrations, creating real urban green lungs for the benefit of the entire community.
